Abramo Pietropaolo

Prolific writer and veteran APRA member Abramo Pietropaolo has enjoyed a long and distinguished career providing lyrics to compositions for an ever increasing list of notable artists.

Based in Perth Western Australia he is also a vocalist who along the years has featured in a number of popular Perth bands.

Amongst his various musical commitments Abramo has also been collaborating on recording projects with internationally acclaimed singing star Alfredo Malabello.

One such project titled Ciao Bella, released through Universal Music Australia, contains three original songs co-written by Abramo and Malabello along with local collaborators William Reid, Darren Halifax and Roy Martinez.

Abramo has also co-written works with popular Perth musicians David Giuffre and Nunzio Mondia, the latter a long time collaborator and performer with the legendary Hank Marvin of The Shadows fame not to mention musical director for prominent international acts on their Australian tours.

In recent years Abramo has also discovered a knack for compering, not surprising for one possessed of light hearted wit and charisma, and to date can already lay claim to successfully hosting a number of important musical events held in and around Perth.
