Vocalist Nicla recorded Dimmi Di Si at F.D.I. Studios in Sydney and subsequently the song was included in the Italian Love Mix Vol.1 CD, a compilation album featuring thirteen new original tracks from Australia's leading exponents of contemporary Eurosong released by GMP. Dimmi Di Si proved to be one of the most popular songs of the compilation and received extensive airplay on a number of diverse radio stations.
